Terms & Conditions
Last updated September 2026. The plain-English rules of using the CoinHarbor platform.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and legally permitted to trade digital assets in your jurisdiction. One account per person; keep credentials and 2FA secret. You are responsible for all activity under your account until you report compromise.
2. Orders, quotes and fees
Converter quotes lock for 60 seconds; expired quotes re-price at the live rate. Card fees (2%), e-wallet fees (0.5%) and network fees are displayed before confirmation and form part of your binding order. Bank transfers are free. Settled crypto transactions are irreversible by design of the underlying networks.
3. Custody and escrow
Exchange balances are held in segregated, insured custody with 95% in cold storage; wallet balances are self-custodial — your keys, your responsibility. Escrow releases funds only when the counterparty obligation confirms on-chain or through the payment rail.
4. Risk disclosure
Cryptocurrency prices are volatile and can fall to zero. Never trade with funds you cannot afford to lose. Nothing on this site is investment advice; our market content is educational. Leveraged or copy-trading features amplify both gains and losses.
5. Prohibited use
No money laundering, sanctions evasion, fraud, market manipulation, account sharing or sale, or attempts to breach platform security. Violations lead to frozen settlement, account closure and reports to competent authorities.
6. Disputes and contact
Contact support first — most disputes resolve within 5 business days through escrow evidence review. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Reach us at support@coinharbor.example, 2750 Quadra Street, Victoria, Canada.
